Raja Rajamannar is the Chief Marketing Officer of Citis Global Cards. In this role he is responsible to drive the business to the next level through transformative marketing strategies that will firmly establish Citi as the undisputed leader in the cards industry. Prior to this, Raja was Executive Vice President, Citi Cards, responsible for managing Citi Cards North American core businesses which included the Value, Cash, Rewards and Drivers Edge businesses, as well as key partnership businesses such as AT&T. Additionally, he also managed New Product Development and Mobility initiatives. Before taking on this role, Raja was managing the Travel & Affluent Markets within Citi Cards, including the American Airlines partnership. He had taken on this assignment after spending nearly two years as Chairman and CEO of Diners Club, North America, where he led the transformation of Diners Club business strategy, through the path-breaking Diners Club-MasterCard alliance. He was on the Board of Directors of Diners Club International.Raja joined Citi in 1994 from Unilever and has worked in various capacities in Citis Global Consumer Group around the world, including serving as the Regional Cards Head for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. His background includes 23 years of Marketing, Sales and Business Management experience. Raja holds a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering and has a Masters in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
