Mark is the President, CEO and co-founder of U.S. Retirement & Benefits Partners (USRBP).

Since forming USRP 9 years ago, Mark has led the development of an entirely new model within the Retirement and Employee Benefits space. Seeing a fusion of the two previously siloed types of businesses, USRBP has through the acquisition and development of technology platforms built the preeminent national independent distributor, administrator and record-keeper within the K-12 public school market, serving over 4,000 public schools.

USRBP has acquired 41 different firms nationally and has expanded its services to the Corporate and Governmental markets. Through its offshore capabilities USRBP is able to bring responsive cost effective services to its clients. The SingleSource model developed by USRBP delivers a bundled or unbundled service model, including its online Benefits Administration system, ACA Compliance, 401(k), 403(b) and 457(b) Recordkeeping & TPA services as well as specialized retirement plans such as Special Pay & FICA Alternative Plans. This one stop shopping model is delivered on a retail or wholesale model, working with Carriers, Brokers and Consultants nationally.

Mark has a unique background in both employee benefits and retirement from his years at UNUM and subsequently as President of The Copeland Companies.

He is a Graduate of the University of Maine and of The Stanford University Business School Executive Program for Smaller Companies. He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Odyssey Funds, as a Corporate Academy Liaison for the National Academy Foundation, and as an active participant in many Habitat for Humanity projects, including rebuilding efforts in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and in New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy. He is a registered principal with FINRA.
