Arizona brokers join international adviser network

Global advisory board, United Benefit Advisors, added Arizona-based Reseco Insurance Advisors to its coalition of over 2,000 brokers.

United Benefit Advisors is a network of advisers from the U.S., Canada, England and Ireland with over 200 offices worldwide. The organization allows brokers to pool their resources and offer peer advice to like-minded professionals. Brokers often turn to this organization to request input on benefit packages they’re building, and for information on government policies related to benefits.

“We chose to partner with UBA to gain access to industry-best analytics, benchmarking capabilities, health plan surveys, and the shared wisdom of the best advisors in the employee benefits business," says Steve Tusa, COO and senior advisor for Reseco.

In order to join United Benefit Advisors, brokers must demonstrate a commitment to creative problem solving, according to a statement by the organization. Members are required to actively participate in discussions and share resources to help each other compete in their respective markets.

"Providing options which empower business decisions, while refusing to compromise on ethical standards makes Reseco an ideal UBA Partner,” says UBA President Peter Weber. “They look out for their clients and dedicate themselves to sharing knowledge and industry insights, which is synonymous with the UBA mission."

Reseco was formed in 2012 after four brokers left larger firms to start their own venture. The firm specializes in identifying unnecessary spending so their clients can invest in innovative benefit offerings, according to the company website. They also offer commercial insurance and risk management services.
