WageWorks Inc. is sponsoring a consumer education campaign which provides resources and tips on the advantages and proper uses of pre-tax benefits.
Along with the changes there is also a Facebook-based sweepstakes to educate consumers on the opportunity to save money with pre-tax health care, dependent care and commuter benefits. “When you find many households struggling financially and enrollment in pre-tax benefits is only around 20%, it is clear that more education is needed,” says WageWorks’ CEO Joe Jackson. “What many may not realize is that pre-tax benefits are exclusively designed to save consumers money on their routine health care, dependent care and commuter expenses.”
