Miller came to the insurance division as a deputy administrator in July 2008 and was named administrator of the division in July 2009 … Chris Martin joins Combined Insurance as the president of the company’s Worksite Solution division. Martin has nearly 20 years experience of management and development of worksite-style business including 17 years with Trustmark … Greg Durant has joined Aon Hewitt as its chief actuary. Durant joins the firm with 20 years experience in insurance and consulting management as well as leadership positions. He will be based in the Aon’s Toronto office … Eric Thompson joins the National Association of Insurance Commissioners as manager of international relations. He replaces George Brady, who was recently appointed deputy secretary general at the International Association of Insurance Supervisors … After a 40-year career in the industry, Farmers Insurance President of Enterprise Marketing, C. Paul Patsis announces his plans to retire at the end of this year. Patsis recently worked in the Los Angeles area … XL Insurance, the global underwriting operations of XL Group, announced it will launch a new railroad underwriting team with Denise DePrimo appointed as senior vice president and Michael D. Margiotta as vice president. DePrimo joins the company from Zurich North America and Margiotta was vice president in Zurich’s railroad unit based in Owings Mills, Md.
