Silberstein Insurance Group promotes Brian C. Morehead and Jill Lohr to vice president and senior account manager, respectively. Candice Slowik joins SIG as an account coordinator. Morehead has been with SIG since 2007 and has more than 15 years of industry experience.  As vice president, he will work primarily with large group clients and be responsible for the financial management and forecasting for employee benefit plans. Prior to joining SIG, Morehead worked with insurance carriers as a financial analyst, underwriter and sales representative. Lohr has been in the insurance brokerage industry since 2002 and joined SIG in 2005. In her new role as senior account manager, Lohr will provide strategic account development and support for group clients of all sizes.  Slowik is one of the newest members of the team. As account coordinator she will assist the account managers with all aspects of customer service, including proposals, claims and renewals as well as day-to-day business support. Lockton has added five employee benefits experts to its Memphis operation to serve corporate clients in the region. Joining Lockton in Memphis are Ashley Pace, Jennifer Maddux, Christine Ferris, Sarah Rossetti and Bethany Greene. Pace joins as an employee benefits consultant and producer. He will advise clients on health and welfare programs, human resources issues, health risk solutions and will responsible for new business development. Pace also has expertise in the managed care arena and an understanding of how wellness programs can improve employee health and employer bottom lines. Maddux has been named an account executive with Lockton in employee benefits. She is responsible for developing health and welfare programs for clients, as well as advising on wellness approaches to improve health and reduce costs. She will also negotiate with insurance carriers and provide ongoing management of employee benefit programs. Ferris has been appointed a human resources consultant with Lockton. She will advise clients on innovative approaches including health and welfare programs, training and development, and other key HR issues. Rossetti is now serving as an account manager in the employee benefits team at Lockton. She supports clients in managing their health and welfare benefit programs, wellness initiatives, and ongoing client service needs. Greene is now an associate account manager working in employee benefits. She handles administration issues related to employee benefit programs for Lockton clients. Milliman announces the election of Stephen A. White as president and chief executive officer. Milliman's board of directors made the announcement, acting to confirm the results of a vote by the privately held firm's principals. White has most recently served as a principal and consulting actuary in the Seattle office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 1985 and succeeds Patrick Grannan, who previously announced his plan to retire following a 34-year career at Milliman. … David A. Sheppard and Darren M. Simpson join the benefits division of Bollinger, Inc. Sheppard is a vice president and will be responsible for increasing Bollinger’s client base in the New York/New Jersey Metro area. As benefits consultant, Simpson is responsible for increasing Bollinger’s client base in the Philadelphia area. Prior to Bollinger, Sheppard had a successful eight-year career with Aon Hewitt as an associate partner and account executive. Simpson comes to Bollinger from Brown and Brown where he was a benefits consultant. Prior to that, he was a district manager with ADP. Also, American General Life Companies has earned a spot on 2012 InformationWeek 500 list of top technology innovators across America. American General currently has two mobile applications designed to empower distribution partners with on-the-go access to customized quotes. Quick Quote, serves the organization's Structured Settlements division and enables agents to use their iPhone or Android mobile devices. The company was also recognized for its RapidRater tool, a mobile quoting application for iPhone and Android smart phone users that allows agents to create quotes for selling a number of life insurance solutions.
