Content-rich

Before we get too far into the new year, I'd like to recommend checking out two new features we've added to our website recently.

The first is Adviser TV, where you'll find an interesting collection of short videos - interviews with thought leaders in the field on topics like wellness, prescription drug costs, creating a strategy to thrive under health care reform, total rewards, the GOP's strategy to repeal PPACA, best practice profiles, videos from industry events, and more.

The staff of our sister publication, Employee Benefit News, has launched their own video channel, dubbed Benefits TV, and you'll find some of their interviews with plan sponsors, consultants and vendors on Adviser TV as well.

For example, now playing on Adviser TV are interviews with:

* Sam Fleet, president of AmWINS Group Benefits

* Beverly Beattie of Selden Beattie Benefit Advisors

* Buck Consultants' Scott Marcotte

* Galen Institute president Grace-Marie Turner

* Tim Heady of UnitedHealth Pharmaceutical Solutions

* Tom Parry of the Integrated Benefits Institute

You can connect to Adviser TV by going to our website, eba.benefitnews.com, and clicking on the Adviser TV button in the top nav bar. We're adding new videos regularly, so you might want to check back from time to time to see what's new. A note of caution, though: These videos can be habit forming.

The second new feature on our website is our slideshow gallery, which currently features a look at the spread of obesity across the U.S. over the last 24 years and a piece on the new health care power brokers in Washington, D.C. The link to our slideshow page is right next to the one for Adviser TV, in the top nav bar on our home page.

We hope you enjoy these new content channels - please let me know what you think. In fact, please contact me if you have a good idea for a video, including one you may have created yourself. And look for more new content from us as the year unfolds.
