Hancock Funds Names New Managing Director

Christopher P. Fuschillo has been hired at John Hancock Funds as managing director on its institutional sales team in a new position. In this role he will be calling on analysts and gatekeepers at major broker-dealer firms. Fuschillo reports to Gary Bieda, a senior managing director, and is based in New York.

“We have experienced strong growth within the broker-dealer platform channel. Our unique ‘best of breed,’ manager-of-managers model has resonated with professional buyers and gatekeepers,” says Todd J. Cassler, senior managing director and head of institutional sales.

“Chris brings a wealth of experience calling on analysts at leading broker-dealers, and we are excited to have him join our organization.”

For the last five years, Fuschillo was director, Due Diligence - Institutional Investment Services Group, with Lord, Abbett & Co. Prior to that role, he spent 11 years with The Dreyfus Corporation as VP, Business Development, in the separately managed account area, and in related roles. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation.
