SAP SuccessFactors Hub helps HR execs consolidate employee data
HR managers who struggle with old legacy systems and consolidating employee data may have a solution in a new product from SAP SuccessFactors.
The new tool, called SAP SuccessFactors People Central Hub, consolidates HR data such as third-party HR systems data, other SAP products like SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fieldglass, customer-relationship management information and employee information — even in various languages. People Central Hub scrubs data, typically leftover from older HCM systems, and cleans it up for human resources to view efficiently — for example, in the form of organizational charts and employee profiles. People Central Hub is integrated within SAP’s human capital management system and also available through an iOS-enabled mobile app.
Not only is the tool cloud-based, but it also aims to assist employers with the transition to a cloud-enabled HCM system, according to the company.
“With many organizations in the midst of digital transformation, the most dynamic ones have realized that putting people first guarantees the best result,” says SAP SuccessFactors President Greg Tomb. “Access to rich data is pivotal to any people-first strategy. But many organizations are having trouble effectively centralizing information stored in a range of legacy systems.”
In turn, the tool makes the data within existing or old HCM systems easier to view and manage organizational data across the company.
The company says that the tool, which is designed for SAP-on-premise employers without HR cloud technologies, will be an additional cost to the suite. SAP declined to share pricing information for any of the products in its suite. The intention of SAP SuccessFactors People Central Hub is to transition employers to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central core HR product, SAP says.
