Employers are experimenting with new and interesting wellness benefits. Employee Benefit Adviser has covered a variety of unique programs — everything from zombie themed walking challenges to a benefits superhero. In August we published a piece about a musical wellness program at the online retailer Zappos. The program is made possible through a partnership with Fender Play, an app that provides a step-by-step guide for users to learn music. Through the benefit, Zappos employees have access to musical instruments like electric guitars, basses and ukuleles in the office.
