When a client embraced the initiative, it changed that company’s well-being plan, explains 2017 Wellness Adviser of the Year Valeria Tivnan.
TIVNAN: We had the manufacturing company as a client and we decided to do a mindfulness training which the manufacturing workers would learn how to meditate and that was a crazy idea. I thought, “This is not going to work. We're not going to have anyone in this room.” And we were very surprised. We actually had very good participation. The room was filled and actually we had great feedback. It was so successful that the company actually had to open, not a meditation room, but a quiet room.
